Momo Sports boutiques, from yesterday to today
Born from the dream of a small guy from Asbestos, the first Momo store opened on April 13, 1982, on Parc street in Sherbrooke (Cégep street). In 1983, the company moved to Wellington Street where it grew steadily. It is to take more expansion it will move to 530 Jean-Paul Perrault Street, its current location, October 1, 2002.
Following the acquisition of a surplus army sales store, founder Michel Poisson started his project. It is with tenacity and a lot of ambition that Mr. Poisson brings his business to expand by adding new outdoor departments to those already existing. As a result, the obligation to adopt a company name: Momo Sports. The latter will better reflect the quality and extent of its activities. Over the years and with a view to offering a greater choice of quality products, Momo Sports relies on the diversity of its products and services. The continued growth of Momo Sports has allowed outdoor sports fans in Sherbrooke, Granby and the surrounding area to benefit from its specialization in the field as we know it today.
